This calculator is a single-page tool. No personal data leaves your browser. The trip dates you enter are processed client-side and are not transmitted to or stored by us.

Personal data we process

• Trip dates entered by you — processed in your browser tab only; not stored, not transmitted.
• Cookieless aggregate analytics — when enabled, the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon counts page views and country at the aggregate level. No cookies are set, no localStorage is used, no IP-address or User-Agent fingerprinting takes place. No individual visitor is identified.
• Server access logs — our hosting provider may retain short-term request logs (IP address, user agent, URL) for operational integrity and abuse prevention, kept no longer than 30 days.

Lawful bases under UK GDPR

• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — for cookieless aggregate analytics and short-term operational logs. The interest balanced is understanding traffic patterns and preventing abuse; the impact on data subjects is minimal because no individual is identified.
• We do not rely on consent, contract, or any other lawful basis, because we do not process personal data for purposes that would require them.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Because we don't hold any identifying record of you, an access request will truthfully return "no data on file."

International transfers

If our hosting provider routes traffic through datacentres outside the UK / EEA, transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum as appropriate.

Affiliate links

Links to travel-insurance and eSIM providers in the result section are clearly disclosed as affiliate. Clicking sends you to a third party whose own privacy notice applies. We receive only aggregated commission reports — no personal data.

Your California rights (CCPA / CPRA)

Because we don't sell or share personal information and don't operate a profile of any individual visitor, most CCPA/CPRA mechanics don't apply. You always have the right to:

• Know what categories of information are collected (this page).
• Delete — irrelevant here, but achievable by closing the tab.
• Opt out of sale or sharing — nothing is sold or shared.
• Non-discrimination — using the calculator costs nothing.

Third-party affiliate links

The result section may include links to travel-insurance and eSIM providers we have a commercial relationship with. Clicking those links may set cookies on the destination site under that provider's own privacy policy; we don't receive personal data from them, only an aggregated commission report.
